Martin Coyne
Martin Coyne founded Digitpol HK in 2013. With over 20 years of expertise in Intelligence, Criminal Investigation, and Digital Forensics, Mr. Coyne is a certified Computer Forensic Investigator. His career has been dedicated to advancing digital forensic technology and conducting forensic examinations. Since 2006, he has primarily worked on international criminal investigations and has been recognized as an expert in numerous cases.
Seeing Hong Kong as a hub for IT technology and a key player in the cybersecurity landscape of Asia, Mr. Coyne actively engages in addressing the region's cybersecurity challenges. He is a member of several elite working groups in Hong Kong, as well as a member of the Hong Kong Computer Society and HK CyberSec.
In 2009, Mr. Coyne was appointed to Europol's European Cybercrime Training & Education Group (ECTEG), representing the Netherlands. Prior to founding Digitpol, he worked with the Netherlands Police until 2013, where he conceived the idea for Digitpol while participating in the Cube Project, an initiative associated with Interpol. The Cube Project was co-led by the Netherlands and engaged an OEM in China, during the Cube Project, Mr Coyne was a resident of Hong Kong.
