Martin Coyne

Martin Coyne founded Digitpol HK in 2013. Mr Coyne is an investigator with over 20 years of experience in Intelligence, Criminal Investigation, and Digital Forensics. He is a certified Computer Forensic Investigator whose career has centered on the development of cutting-edge digital forensic technologies and conducting forensic examinations. Since 2006, Mr. Coyne has predominantly focused on international criminal research and has been recognized as an expert in numerous high-profile cases.

In 2009, Mr. Coyne was appointed to Europol's European Cybercrime Training & Education Group (ECTEG), a working group hosted by Europol in The Hague, where he represented the Netherlands. in 2008 until 2013, Mr Coyne was a member of the CUBE Project, a project between the Politie, the Netherlands Forensic Institute (NFI), Launch Tech LTD (Shenzhen) and INTERPOL HQ Lyon. 

He also serves as an external expert member of the Strategic Knowledge Center for Organized Subversive Crime, an organization commissioned by the Ministry of Justice and Security in the Netherlands.

Mr Coyne was approved by the Netherlands Ministry of Justice and Security to manage the investigations and operations within Digitpol under a permit issued by the ministry (POB1557), he has held this position since 2014, prior to founding Digitpol Mr Coyne was an employee of the Netherlands Police.
